Masai Mara Reserve

The world famous, Masai Mara game reserve, bordering Tanzania. A wildlife holiday to Africa and Kenya MUST include a few nights at one of the great safari lodges that African Bundu Safaris books their clients into. We offer a variety of wildlife lodges, some located inside the Masai Mara Game Reserve and others located in concession areas or Game Management Areas surrounding the actual Maasai Mara National Park, however, the park is unfenced and so the wildlife can roam freely throughout the Masai Mara area. This fantastic game-viewing area is famous for the annual migration of millions of zebra and wildebeest who spend all year travelling in and around the Masai Mara area of Kenya and the Serengeti area of Tanzania. They spend a few months in the Mara of Kenya, after crossing the Mara river (which one sees so often on Wildlife documentaries films), before they return to Tanzania and spend the remainder of the year in the Serengeti - migrating and grazing down to the southern Serengeti, near Ngorongoro Crater, before heading to western Serengeti and then crossing the Grumeti and Mara Rivers back into Kenya. Governors' Camp is situated on the banks of the Mara River in the west of the Masai Mara Game Reserve.
